What it is
PositionAlpha’s public hub — homepage, market overviews, Learn, FAQ, and legal pages — is open without an account. After free Google sign-in, gold, silver, and oil unlock in the dashboard workspace. Premium adds more markets, news features, and the full AI research agent, depending on current entitlements.
Why it matters
Clear tier boundaries build trust and prevent surprise paywalls mid-research. AdSense reviewers and new users should understand that substantial educational content is free, while deeper tooling is optional.
How traders use it
Start on /markets and /learn. Sign in when you need charts and builders on free assets. Upgrade only if you need the broader universe or Premium research tools. Review Terms and Privacy for billing and data practices.
Example
A visitor reads the gold public overview and COT guide, signs in to open gold charts, and later upgrades to follow additional commodities and news.
Deeper context
Entitlements are enforced server-side. Free asset IDs are defined centrally (gold, silver, oil). Public pages intentionally keep educational copy outside /dashboard so crawlers are not blocked by robots rules that disallow the app shell.
